I like the features. I like the enhanced host options. I also like the breakout rooms and the room layouts have a lot of options. It has helped us to collaborate as a team a lot more. We are able to have meetings anywhere and adobe is compatible with most devices. user-friendly meeting software for business. I like the recording functionality. I think it is excellent. The participants are able to interact with a recorded session which is awesome. Its almost like they are in a live meeting. I also like the live polling option. It a great feature that can be used to check for team participation.
I don't like the lag that can happen due to many people in the room. and I don't like the fact that some browsers are not compatible. I don't like the price. I think it is too expensive. I wish adobe connect was not so dependent on internet bandwidth. the adobe app needs some improvement. other than did everything is awesome.
It has helped us to collaborate as a team a lot more. We are able to have meetings anywhere. Being able to meet anywhere has been a great benefit to us.
I love that I can go into a conference if I have questions or if I need something or even for training. I love that there is a chat box so that you can talk with my coworkers and utilize all the different options like raising your hand, being away from the computer, etc. It was really a great tool to utilize when having meetings or trainings.
There isn't anything that i can say that I dislike. I suppose the only thing I can think of is that I wish it would remember our sign in names. Even after so many years, I still don't have anything that I dislike about Adobe Connect.
Problems have been solved with getting immediate access to people that can help us, train us and over all make transitions smoother. Also gives us the options to talk to each other and notify if we are away from our desks without interrupting.
I like all of the multiple features that this software/program has. They can screen share, raise your hand, step away, agree, disagree, turn mic on/off. You can also have a little chat box to type and write anything if you do not want to turn your mic on and disrupt the presentation.
I think I dislike the clutter a little bit but not that much. It is easy to look past when you see all the benefits this program has.
It is way better than google meetings in my opinion. You can see everyone who is online and you can even have music playing in the background if no one is presenting or talking.
Does what we needed it to do to convert from classroom learning in a physical classroom to virtual learning.
I didn't encounter anything that I disliked about using Adobe.
remote learning outside the classroom due to Covid 19. I suspect it will be utilized much more by our college for distance education
Adobe connect makes it easy to engage the class with icons to make the experance seamless. Breakout rooms are a great way for agent to interact in big or small groups.
Right now there is nothing i do not like about Adobe connect
Only problem is the slow loading when joining a class room. Biggest benifit is sharing desktop.
I love the ease of access for learning community members. I can set it up with password, or open access with url. Also, how I can share multiple things at once.
Recordings always save as private. (Now it may already do this) but when setting up the recording parameters, give us the option to set it to public instead of having to hunt for the recording and change it to public.
I can send my students ONE pre-set url that they can use for class anytime we need it. I don't have to set up separate times, etc. I have Coach K's Online Classroom. They can link this in their bookmarks. And when they need to jump on the class, they can just click on the bookmarked url and they are in. No passwords and 10 digit numbers to copy and paste.
I love that videos stream flawlessly, the chat is easy to use and separated from other chat threads. In addition this software allows for customization both in layouts, individual breakout rooms and with the ability to tailor the presentations to the needs of the facilitator and the organizations. Furthermore, this software allows for lag-free or next to lag-free video streaming. The audio and video are in sync during video playback. This software is the simplest way to share videos where talking syncing with lip movement is very important. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who is in need of a training solution.
I do not like the connectivity issues and working with other individuals' IT Departments to get an Adobe Product installed and running on other organization's machines. Furthermore, this software takes time to get the layouts just right for your organization. Granted once the layouts are created they can be reused so it is not a bad negative.
We are using Adobe Connect to host our trainings. Pre-Covid we had in-person trainings around the world and now we can bring our trainings to people's homes and businesses. We also use Adobe Connect to record our organization's all-hands meetings. This allows for any employee to rewatch the trainings on an as-needed basis. In addition, we use Adobe Connect to beta test new trainings and content offerings.
I love that I set my meeting room up almost 3 years ago and I have never had to re-do or re-make it since. Just like my cell phone the more I use it the more my content and everything I could ever want or need is there for me to grab instantly from anywhere. I also like that because my stuff stays persistent from session to session I can go back in and grab notes I've taken at a later time, or that I can set things up and practice my presentation so it's polished. And one of my FAVORITE things is that the recordings done in Connect play back interactively for people when I send out the URL to the recording! So when people watch what I'm sending them instead of a boring, flat, MP4 - they can now download files from the file share pod still in the recording, they can click on weblinks and still go to that destination in the recording, they can still interact with a quiz or simulation or game in the recording, they can copy and paste from the chat or notes pod in the recording, and I can also edit my recording and strip out any personally identifiable information if I need to autonomize it.
I don't have anything I dislike. The more I use it the better it gets :).
I am solving customer and prospect interactions, as well as public webinars, marketing, and also eLearning. It solves all facets for me.
Functionality. So many options to configure the classroom!
Nothing. Everything about Adobe Connect is fantastic!
Virtual training in a pandemic world. Cost savings and the benefit for the attendee to be able to sleep in their own beds at night, versus sleeping in a hotel!
Control over the Participant experience. The ability to use custom applications / PODs Background noise reduction is good. Easy to distribute File, Links etc.
An almost complete lack of support for POD developers. Whiteboard sucks. Need to support multiple webcams, or provide a quicker and easier (single click!) way to switch between. Need to be able to capture desktop audo when screen sharing. Not all preferences "stick" (either from Template->Room, or from repeated activations / uses of a Room.) I would like to see an "Auto-Record" option, based on the Layout in use. (Have written a custom POD solution, but it isn't ideal!) You can't just upload a ZIP to Content for distribution via Files. Lastly, no Linux version!
Technical training for customers. The ability to give a slick and professional presentation is fantastic. I love the Layouts as it enables me to transition easily between presntation "modes".
Adobe Connect gives me security and confidence when meeting online. Its interface is attractive and it has tools to make everything work properly. I've shared meetings and seminars, group sessions and we can even split up into several rooms.
We have had some problems with audio in conversations and some errors and incompatibility with Flash Player.
We've been able to hold seminars to showcase our products and offers. It is the relatively good thing to get effective communication, its great features will help to have a pleasant experience, sharing files and presentations.
Most striking feature regarding connect meeting is layouts and ease of feature that is available in whole one window to view.once you get hang of it you are never going back
You have to install flash in plugin and some browser are not compatible with it
The payment and licensing options are not flexible in fact you have to pay a high amount if you are using add ons.
I have been using Adobe Connect since 2008 for teaching private online classes. I love how you can set up the room any way you want, including setting up multiple setups. I also love how you can upload documents, video and music to present, and you can pre-upload as many as you want. You can share your screen, use a whiteboard, and annotate your presentations. You can do breakout rooms, choose to give or not give your attendees video and microphone rights and setup multiple chat pods. I also teach for a public school and we have moved to virtual teaching for the pandemic. Our district let us use Zoom at first and then moved us to Google Meets because of the security issues. Both of these programs don’t hold a candle to what Adobe Connect can do. They seem so basic when you are coming from the Adobe Connect platform. I am currently asking the technology department allow the use of Adobe Connect for the virtual classroom, because I know how useful it is for teaching.
We just need to be able to share our sound in the screen share.
I am currently a happy customer and have no problems with Adobe Connect. I have successfully used this program for 12 years to teach one-to-one and one-to-many online classes.
I love the ease with which I can manage my content and my audience from one easy screen. I also love how I can communicate with my other hosts in the background. I love that we can build pods, chats and more in the backroom and then bring them live to the audience. I love that I can capture data and source files with whiteboard from the break out rooms. I love the breakout rooms. they are easy to implement and easy to design. I can manage the learning modules and pedagogy so easy with the different share pods and poll pods. I like that I can assign leaders to the breakout rooms and I can broadcast messages to them. I like that I can build a very interactive lobby that welcomes my audience. I like that people are engaging and i can read the engagement in the back room.
I am worried about the quality of the sound for some of my long distance learners. There is a tendency for the program to create overtalk - the presenter is taling over the video that I am showing. This is not acceptable. I dislike the user experience - they would like to be on camera - but that takes up too much bandwidth. I would like a better quality of sound,. I think I can pay more for that but I can;t afford it yet.
I have a need ot provide professional development ton an international audience. My learners come from India, Africa, Europe Australia and all across the USA. We will also have audiences in Japan and China. I have a preference for a pedagogical model that revolutionizes online learning. I can build it in AC with ease and deliver it.
The ability to share content and have control to use whiteboard, great assets
Having to only be able to use pdf to display!
This is a great asset if you are instructing or presenting to multiple people, and getting easier the more you use it.
I like the ability to add polls to my webinars, the ease of use and I could go on. I have been using AdobeConnect for many years and I enjoy it. I like that I can conduct polling with participants to engage them. I also record my presentations because not everyone can attend at that time and date. With recording, you can go back and edit it-which is fantastic. The edit feature came in handy when there was a connection snafu and my presenter had to stop for a second, my audio went out, and by going in and editing this, those that listened to the recording had no idea of the technological issue. Another great feature that I use often is having an evaluation sent out following my presentations to collect feedback-love! Like I said, I have been using AdobeConnect for years and enjoy the many features.
The only thing that I have encountered was with playing a video. One of my presenters wanted to show a video as part of their presentation and I had everything in place prior to the presentation. When we were live, the audio from the video did not play. That was disappointing, but this has been the only issue I have had.
Being able to connect people from all parts of the state, region, and country. I enjoy using AdobeConnect because I work with people of varying computer literacy skills and the simplicity is wonderful.
Safe and secure (not like Zoom). Can be used by everyone.
It is very complicated compared to some other platforms.
We are able to have virtual meetings.
Flexibility in design and perpetual rooms.
Flash-based, can be laggy on slow connections.
Delivering high-quality, interactive training programs to our clients via electronic delivery. While zoom is easy and a bit more user friendly, Adobe Connect brings so many great features that allow us to create a more engaging online learning environment. The customized branding also allows us to improve our brand awareness with our clients and demonstrates a higher-level of professionalism.
So Adobe Connect is one of the best tools in the market right now for online content delivery. I've been using it for over 3 years now and it has always been a reliable source for my needs. You can easily schedule training classes, have a number of attendees, do live polls, check the participants engagement and if they are multitasking, and most importantly you are also able to separate the participants into breakout rooms for different type of activities which makes it more dynamic and entertaining.
Unfortunately I'll say that the one thing that I do dislike about Adobe Connect is that when you want to download meeting recording you need to playback the whole recording in order for it to be saved on your computer which is quite time consuming and specially since sometimes it breaks or the download it's not successful that just means that you have to start all over again with the playback.
Online training delivery. With the situation we are living today it has make it very easy and interactive to delivery our training courses.
The simplicity and interactive interface through which you can co-ordinate with large groups
Nothing much but mostly Adobe connect is a web-based platform which makes it sometime slaggy
Addressing large audiences when you are doing an online webinar or seminer
