I like simple and intuitive UI of Exponea. It is very easy to use, create campaigns and target segments even for non-experienced users. The impact/success of the campaign can be evaluated easily with provided stats.
The response of the application is sometimes too slow (especially when importing bunch of photos).
We appreciate simple yet powerful creation of target audience based on specific rules that helps us send better pointed campaigns.
I like whole tool. I can customize what I want. Everything is on me and this is cool I think.
Lack of new features interesting for me. For example new triggers or more default weblayers ready for small changes.
I had to sell more SIM cards for telco client. We reached approximately 300% increace in sale with Exponea. We also seva a lot of money for our clients on online media.
Exponea consists of two large families of features, i.e. Campaigns and Analytics. We use mainly the analytics part, that is crafted into an easy-to-use Dashboard, which represents a one-stop-shop for important indicators and metrics. Where you can easily add or edit Customer Profiles and make use of behavior history and analytics to improve result delivery times. Thanks to event attributes we can run aggregate or expression, for example you can select event session start and its attribute country into rows. There are also multiple modifiers in report metrics, which help visualize our the data in tables.
Since we work with Exponea dashboards, mobile application would be much appreciated.
We use revenue attribution report to get a comprehensive overview of acquisition sources and customer touch-points leading a purchase. Multiple models include first/last touch, linear, and time decay. Also Exponea allowed our IT department to refocus on their traditional operational support roles.
There are many templates to be used and even though it is highly customisable for a skilled programmer, it is still user-friendly enough for everyone.
The downside for me is a heavy need for hard skills in statistics, analytics and/or coding. This comes hand-in-hand with customisation possibilities, so this is something to prepare for if you want to tailor Exponea to your every need.
MArketing automation tools, customer characteristics and additional promotional activities on our website and mailing campaigns.
Lot of ways to create added value that improve the customer experience. With the built-in AB testing we always know what our customers prefer.
No complains at all. It's full time job to take care of Exponea. Contains so many features and options of use that we have had to hire new team member to make sure we use in on 100%. I think we still have the backlog ...
From my side of view it helped us to increase the sales and improve the conversion rate. Exponea played very important role in our last year's Black Friday campaign.
I like the simplicity of control and perhaps unlimited possibilities of use. Simple design and user interface experience. Very responsive support.
I would like to see more simplicity in evaluating the results.
Increasing conversion rate. High flexibility and ability to react quickly. Simple and fast implementation.
It's an easy way to work with our customer base - segment, analyse and then take action. We use it daily to send our newsletter, to improve personalisation based on what customers buy/see, and scenarios based on actions our customers take on e-shop. They are still working on building the product, so we see new features and improvements first-hand.
For advanced solutions and analysis we need the help from Exponea support team. But they respond very quickly and we always find solutions.
- to analyse behaviour and segment our customers for more relevant communication - bring relevant content in our emailing to different customer groups - to deliver the emailing at the time our customers are use to open it - to automate and personalise: -- abandoned cart - if our customers forget something in cart -- last seen products - if customer is browsing products, but not adding them to cart -- re/activation campaigns -- ...and more cases to improve the Conversion Rate
There are 3 key feats I really like about Exponea the most: realtime data, usability and support. The data that we work with are not sampled or delayed by days, it is realtime. If you need a different point of view on your data, you simply do it by yourself and see it the next moment. When you start a new campaign, you keep on refreshing the dashboards to see how it goes - better than watching NHL live! That connects to usability: we use the data directly for action in the scenarios to eg create offers for specific segments of users or purely based on their behavior in our app - in a very user friendly interface. Also learning how to use Exponea is super fast - a quick onboarding and you're ready to go. Need an AB test? No prob. Third, if we get stuck or have questions, the support guys help us in a matter of a few business hours. Also we get their suggestions and help on how to improve our analytics and campaigns. They are helping us to improve the way we work with data and grow our business. Very useful, as we are not really data scientists.
It is hard to find flaws or specifically stuff I don't like about Exponea - for our use case it's the best out of the tools we tried. However, as Exponea is realtime, it has a hard time with complex queries of type n-squared. Part of that problem is the usage of averages, but not having a median directly. We don't need these on a daily basis and for weekly or monthly BI reports and aggregated data we use Excell (then you don't need to handle 100M's of events in data).
We are a mobile free-to-play game dev company, so data and user behavior is the core of our business. First of all, with Exponea, we managed to grow as a company and fully implement a data driven approach to our company - thinking in KPIs, experiments and proof not in feelings but in numbers, on a daily basis. We base our decisions on data, because it is so easy to get data and work with data. Second, a lot of direct improvements were achieved, eg, we improved the performance of onboarding funnel by 350% and the offers monetization more than 250% and still see (thanks to data) plenty of space for improvement. Also, we have been able to identify flaws and weak points in the UX of our game and fix them - game economy, balancing of levels, fail rates, etc.
I really enjoy the wide range of possibilities that Exponea offers.
Nothing in particular. The only thing we dislike is that we are unable to fully use all the features due to connectivity issues with our own CRM.
We use Exponea primarily for upsale of our news subscription, special time limited offers etc. We also look at their analytic data in order to evaluate the campaigns.
All the tools in one platform; incredibly in depth analytics, powerful campaign builder, great segmentation options. Very versatile, customizable and expandable.
Having so many options and variables to play with when creating charts, campaigns or scenarios can make the interface get a little bit cumbersome when working in a small laptop screen.
I'm providing my clients a really robust marketing cloud that can target customers in different channels based on actions and behaviors, accelerating lead conversion, nurturing prospects, increasing sales and lowering the cost per lead. And the beauty of it is that everything can measured in real time and improved accordingly.
The ability to build and share Dashboards for external partners and quick prototyping of reporting views. Easiness of use even for data and analysis newbies. Level of customer support. The reputation of Exponea as employer. Security and trackability are generally very well thought out. Real-time big data management is well done. There has been little to none down-time so far.
Sometimes the rate of innovations in the product is too quick to catch up with. Also the documentation catches up vagrantly. Data imports are rudimentary at current level but word is campaign management is going to improve.
We're using the reporting features as single source of truth within the company. Dashboards in use show the state of the company from various points of view on monthly or weekly basis, or even allow an operational view drilling down to hours and minutes, particularly useful when analysing new distributions. Reports allow slicing and dicing of event based data. Analysts have a variety of tools including a Flow chart effectively allowing to cross-check with other data sources within the company such as Google Analytics. Campaigns allow rapid marketing e-mail or weblayer campaigns design, testing and evaluation. This is particularly useful for e-commerce. We have also repurposed the push features to allow secure, trackable and targeted in-app communication with end-users of our product, a browser-extension best-in-breed password manager.
If you need several tools to answer analytical and marketing data related questions, go for Exponea! You will be able to answer complex high-level questions with easy understandable reports.
There is not anything I can think of, if we need to adapt anything, their support is very fast, and answers all our questions.
Performance marketing, B2C, consumer software distribution. We can easily compare distributions, how they convert, which one gets us the most active and paying customers, how is every step of the funnel converting. You can use it as a CRM for your users, push notifications, use scenarios for perfect realtime marketing automation, segment users perfectly, A/B test website changes, promotions, landing pages and emails..
My team is able to provide real time answers to almost all business analytics requests on demand...and the dashboard capabilities are quite nice. Analyzing user conversions thru the entire funnel is very valuable and the ability to do this analysis for various user cohorts and traffic sources is all possible. Exponea provides great value
I have no complaints from my level of interaction with the product
We mainly use the product for improving user conversion metrics throughout the entire on-boarding and premium conversion funnel
All the possibilities for reports, segmentations, set up of automated campaigns, notifications etc.
Help section on the website could have more examples.
How to increase revenue, which campaign has the best performance. A/B testing, personalizing of emails.
- innovativeness and fast development/evolution - great time-to-value - great service - great value-for-money - real-time capabilities - comprehensiveness
We don't have any negative experience with Exponea
We use Exponea for detailed analytical equipment for marketing, the huge advantage is simple intergation to ecommerce platorm, excellent qualified consultants. Exponea provided us significant growth of sale revenues, thanks to optimization and personifying our marketing communication.
For us, as an IT company developing and running mobile communication service app Klap Messenger, Exponea serves as an integral part of the product development. It is an extremely useful tool to better understand customer behavior and find the right solutions to any problems. Exponea has helped us find answers which we otherwise would have had tested by a much less efficient trail-error method.
Sometimes busy and sometimes it took awhile to get hold of them.
Useful tool to better understand customer behavior and find the right solutions to any problems.
- quick and helpful support, - detailed information in real time, -Exponea-dashboards are a feast for the eyes, - A/B testing is remarkably easy
I can't find any stain on this product. Usually when I find something unclear it is very easy to figure it out with their immediate support..
- For marketing decisions, we are tracking all necessary information with Exponea in real time. Exponea A/B testing helps us optimize our processes and save money thanks to more effective distribution of expanses. We can also target our segmented users by email and notifications directly from Exponea.
The way how Exponea is forcing you to understand what data are analyzed and through find right interpretation of result.
Lack of technical ducumentation. I´m not sure what is happening "behind the scene" sometimes.
Conversion rate - Web Layers focused on buying decision encouragement Long term relationship (Auto event email campaign - customer´s birthday/nameday, targeted email campaigns by purchase history) Cart abandonment Sales analytics by customer segmentation
It is only tool we use everything is there!
It is little bit expensive so keep track to use it correctly :)
We are using Exponea for: 1. Abandonment basket 2. Automatic communication (mailing) with customers. 3. Tracking conversion / optimising website 4. Showing interactive content on website for our users (banners) 5. Analysing our customers
User's segmentation and identification is amazing.
I would like to have more integrations (Slack?).
I don't have to use 3 different services anymore. Pricing is very reasonable to value. I can let marketing
