Sleek and simply interface makes it easy to share with non savvy folks
Mobile app still a bit more time consuming to navigate well.
People have changing shedules and this allows quick integration for rescheduling
Very simple user interface Looks great on mobile Scheduling has become easy!
- Lacks ability to customize -Looks a bit generic
Scheduling meetings/calls with clients and associates without going back & forth.
This allows me to easily schedule meetings with a click of a button!
Cost - I wish the trial period was 30 days to get a more accurate picture.
I was constantly waiting in line during office hours, now I can have a set time where they can meet one on one!
I like how it syncs with my Google calendar to ensure I don't get double-scheduled. The interface is clean and easy to use, as well.
The free version is quite limited in terms of what you can do.
Automating my scheduling for intro (and consultation) calls. It makes it easy for clients and prospects to pick times for calls that work for them, without all of the back and forth of call scheduling that normally takes place over email.
I like that it integrates with my iOS calendar and clients can auto schedule appointments, change them, and get reminders. I also integrated Zapier to get texts when someone schedules.
I have to pay to get the features I really need.
Book appointments with clients is easy. Calendly helps me avoid the back and forth to pick a date for a phone call or meeting. It also reminds them so there are fewer times I get stood up.
I work with clients on a day to day basis this requires training sessions, appointments, meetings and consultations. I love that I can use calendly to schedule my appointments since I do not have a personal assistant or anyone to manage my calendar.
It is a little bit time consuming setting up your initial availability when choosing times that people can schedule with me. I know that it can be linked with a google calendar but when it comes to a schedule like mine that switches so often and varies week to week it is challenging to rely strictly on the google calendar when setting availability. I wish there was a more streamline way to link everything together. (without an added charge)
Calendar management. I do not have anyone to manage my calendar and with all the other tasks I have to complete with my job title my calendar seems to fall to the wayside. With Calendly I have been able to better manage my appointments, sessions and consultations.
I love the simplicity of Calendly for scheduling meetings. It makes it so much easier for individuals to find an available time to meet with me or someone else in my company without ever needing to send them a list of our availability that is often constantly changing.
I'd like the ability to have more options for group calendar options. Right now, I can set up a Calendly for multiple people, but we all have to be available at the same date/time for that availability to show. However, there are times when a meeting needs one person plus at least one person from a group of multiple people to attend. It would be ideal if I could setup a calendly to have an "or" statement so it could look at multiple people's calendars and show availability anytime at least one of those people are available.
It helps us quickly schedule meetings without the needless process of email back and forth about availability.
Create numerous appointments to better structure your day and manage your time Tailor your availability to your workflow reduce no-shows with custom messages for confirmation and reminder emails
It's hard to schedule a group meetings. but otherwise it always does what it needs to do
Increasing the likelihood that someone shows up for a meeting and automating appointment setup
Ease of use and the UX. It's quick to set-up and easy to learn. It takes the stress out of scheduling and helps you become more flexible for your Customers.
Calendly is great for ad hoc meetings. If you're on the phone a lot, you really have to configure your settings to make sure Customers can't schedule meetings a certain amount of time after another meeting (or next thing you'll know, you'll have back to back to back meetings). The nice thing is, this is doable with their software!
Scheduling meetings with Customers and even some internal meetings.
I love how easy it is to use. Adding new events and branding your page is so helpful. The integration with the associated emails calendar is also a huge bonus.
The only dislike would be you can only have one user per account unless you do a higher paid version.
Scheduling demos with ease and without the use of an actual person needing to be present. The system easily notifies and integrates into our current system and it's extremely easy to use.
I love the way the calendly dashboard works. It's very attractive and intuitive. I love how calendly automatically populates my calendar with appointments. I also like that I'm able to ask questions when someone is making an appointment.
I don't like that the time zone option on the appointment page doesn't stand out very much. I have clients all over the country and they often forget to change the time zone.
Calendly has made scheduling appointments with my clients quick and easy.
Calendly does what it is supposed to do really well: save a bunch of time, bother, and emails to schedule a time to get together. It has a decent amount of configuration, with the ability to set different types of meetings (duration, location, name) and sensible limits on number of meetings and time buffers between each meeting time to keep your schedule from getting too slammed.
While it works great from my end, I'm not thrilled about the user experience of the people scheduling against my calendar. After you pick the meeting type (from a workable but unsexy UI), Calendly shows detailed availability one day at a time, so it can take way too much clicking to drill into days--and then back out again--to find a time that actually works. So I feel a little guilty when asking someone to schedule with me, because I know their experience may be subpar. I'd feel a lot better if that end user experience was better.
Once I started doing lots of networking external to my company (coffee, drinks, lunches, intro calls), managing my calendar and the emails requires to make calendars line up with a new person was a nightmare. Calendly made all of that go away. It saves me several hours a week.
Shows my availability, with the ability to leave gaps in schedule before/after appts before another can be booked. Automatically updates my calendar. DOESNT make my outlook crash like Timetrade did.
was difficult to initially get set up (mostly because i'm not tech savvy and dont like to spend time learning.. i just want it to work easily)
Booking appointments/matching up my availability against a clients
It's simple and straightforward with a great UI. I have used TimeTrade in the past and not only is it WAY more expensive (like....thousands and thousands of dollars, where Calendly is just a few hundred per year or FREE), the interface on TT was TERRIBLE. Calendly is light weight and intuitive.
I wish it was a little more powerful, and I wish it integrated with Marketo. Also, because I haven't used it as a 1:1 integration with someone's calendar, I wish I could schedule multiple event types for the same time. We ended up getting around this by just creating separate accounts, but still kind of annoying.
At my previous company we switched from TimeTrade to Calendly for the purpose of scheduling our public demo sessions. At my current company, we use Calendly to schedule demos with prospects at Trade Shows.
Allows you to customize your calendar so that people can only book in certain slots, and have to answer questions beforehand so you'll have plenty of details before the scheduled appointment.
Sometimes it doesn't see that I've blocked out my calendar and will allow people to still book over an existing event. Rare, but happens occasionally.
Less back and forth in emails trying to find a time that works for both parties involved.
It makes it easy to view all meetings and give people the option of selecting in the times that work for me. I also enjoy being able to send out emails ahead of time automatically.
Unless I am missing it, I wish there was a way to add conditional logic into post-event communications.
Making it easy for people to schedule meetings with me without having to go back and forth on times.
I love using Calendly when I need to book an appointment with someone.
I do not like using Calendly when I have to set it up for people to book appointments with me.
Calendly means that people can connect without awaiting responses in email formats. That means my international clients can book even if I am away from my desk.
I love the ease of use. Also, the ability to colab w other team members.
I have issue and I have been told they are working on a change soon, its colective meeting w multple host automaticaly able to use.
Able to quickly schduele meetings.
Calendly is helpful for those who aren't the best at calendar management, checking their email, or scheduling overall.
Pricing scales up pretty quickly, so from a financial perspective I'm not sure it's worth the small convenience of scheduling for the cost.
Calendly helps those with busy schedules and poor calendar management to schedule and accept meetings automatically
Calendly has truly simplified the day-to-day scheduling meeting process. Now, I can specify different notice requirements for various days of the week and times of day, set appointment lengths, and establish gaps between appointments.
I wish it allowed for the integration with more calendars simultaneously. Though it's not a major inconvenience.
Calendly has streamlined my day-to-day meeting schedules with both clients and colleagues efficiently.
