It is very intuitive. I use less than 50% of all features and, yet, I feel everything I need is attended. It is easy to add lists and tasks and also see the big picture. Also, I like that I can add as many people I want for a project, limitating their access. It gives me more secure.
When I need to assign a task to a team, I need to put only one person to do that. But sometimes the same task is for more than 1 person. Usually, I tag all crew on the description of the task, although assigning it to only 1. Also, although KanBan is a very good way to see how the project is going, I find some difficulties to navigate.
With Freedcamp, I can have all feedbacks and history of a project on a single platform. Although I don't use it to upload and archive files (I use GDrive), on Freedcamp, I can tell exactly what my team must do to deliver the entire project. Thanks to Freedcamp, I can deliver end-to-end projects to my clients. There are about 135 projects already delivered.
For an individual, one-man shop like me, Freedcamp's pricing model is by far the best of any online project management platform. And I really really like the lifecycle of projects.
The UI has its quirks, not gonna lie. The wiki feature is very primitive and lacking. It's not a show stopper, but something you have to learn to live with.
Freedcamp lets me implement "Getting Things Done" methodology and it lets me keep track of a thousand things at once from the tiniest errand reminder to the biggest life goals. I might not get everything done n a given day, but I have tremendous peace of mind knowing that nothing will fall through the cracks either. If I don't get something done, it's because there were too many other more important things that needed to get done.
I've been using Freedcamp for a few years now. I tried many tools, and they were either too higher price for what I wanted or they didn't have the features that I wanted. Freedcamp has the features for me to keep on top of my daily tasks without overcomplicating the process.
I can't say that there is anything that I don't like about it. It does what it promises.
My daily productivity has improved dramatically since using Freedcamp. I no longer feel I have to find a better productivity tool. I generally don't use paper to-do lists at all any more.
The calendar and task management help me in day-to-day project management for clients. The software is easy to use. Technical support is very fast and efficient.
There is nothing I don't like about Freedcamp. He serves me well in all aspects and when I have any improvement to request, the support team serves me quickly.
I am solving the task and event management problem for projects on clients. In this respect, Freedcamp helps me to monitor my team and the activities they need to develop with clients, without missing deadlines.
It offers so many tools for FREE. I legitimately have used this almost every day since I discovered it and it has helped me organize so much. It is a wonderful tool to help manage collaboration in teams, and has so many tools and widgets available to help layout and measure productivity. Great free Kanban style board and unlimited lists and projects on the free plan and unlimited collaborators!
I don't particularly like the main dashboard that much, since I don't have that many projects at the same time it is not as useful but still useful nonetheless.
I had a disorganization problem with my team in getting tasks done, this helped us organize who was doing what, and what needs to be done. Now I'm using it day to day for work, small projects, and even personal life things. I am saving time!
The ability to assign tasks to specific people and have feedback on their progress. Also useful is the ability to attach documents to tasks.
Just wish we could attach more than one person to a task sometimes. Could perhaps be circumvented by creating groups.
We have a highly independent but also interdependent media office and this helps with keeping most on the same page.
We have been using Freedcamp for over a year. The ease of use and ability to collaborate with colleagues (inside and outside the organization) make this tool an essential part of our organization.
I would love a way to have more categories in Kanban view.
We can keep on top of an array of projects with our team, assistants, and consultants across the country.
Ease of use and integration of all the main requirements for discussions and file sharing in a single location
There is nothing that I dislike about Freedcamp
Management of a research project with 10 partners from 7 different countries
Appropriate pricing for two users means our small team can work effectively together on projects. The calendar sync functionality (we use Google) is helpful for easily viewing due Freedcamp tasks for day/week and ensuring time is allocated into someone's calendar to action these.
The desktop program isn't as intuitive to use as I would like. There isn't a "back" option, whereas when using the browser based version you can use your browser's inbuilt buttons. I often have to reset back to the home screen or projects list to then navigate elsewhere.
Freedcamp provides our small team with the ability to keep track of long-term goals by breaking them down into projects and then smaller task and subtask lists. We have realised that when inspiration for an idea comes along, we can easily add a nice title and thoughts as a task, and then come back later to move these ideas around to other projects/tasks to ensure ideas are not lost.
I like the fact that we have a flexible management tool that is not completely license based as it has a free tier. For many charities this is super important because we have part time people and volunteers and we could not cover the costs of tools for them.
Can't think of much to be honest - the updates over the last year have really helped and improved the product perhaps customise the fact that you can only have 3 actions in progress - we have many more than that each
We use Freedcamp to do the following: - manage team projects - manage internal team priorities (Senior Leadership Team, Marketing, Technology deployment etc.) - manage the board in terms of documents, actions and communications - manage relationships with key suppliers and associated priorities
Great user interface and design, making the process of managing projects an easy one. I also love that they are constantly evolving and making enhancements to the platform.
Nothing comes to mind as they check all the boxes.
Project management on select projects and having a centralized destination for collaboration.
The main interface is clean and user friendly.
I miss some tools that I need to find in other platforms. I would expect more frequency on upgrades.
Tracking task with different members of my organisation is easier now. Having a common place for discussions, tasks follow up and documents is great and help us achieve objcetives.
The easy-to-use interface has made project management seamless for my team.
Nothing. This is a great program that meets all of my needs.
Streamlined workflow
El precio, la version gratuita es muy buena y si requieres algo más los planes son muy accesibles
El tema del diseño creo que lo pueden mejorar y hacerlo un poco más amigable
Gestión de tareas
I like the ability to track time based on the projects that I'm working on. In Basecamp and other programs there's no way to track time. This is especially important to me since I have part timers who handle some of the client work and I need to track their time in order to bill the client.
I don't have any strong dislikes for the program. The one feature that I wish it did have is the ability to easily hide older time trackers. They do have a filter, but if you log out and log back in you have to reassign the dates that you want to see. It's a minor inconvenience.
I am solving the problem of tracking time for projects. It also helps me to have one spot that I can communicate information to the people who are helping me to manage the work. I especially like that you can setup little Wikis or informational spots to record procedures and steps. That saves a lot of time training (and in some cases, retraining) people.
For each event or project we all know what needs to be done and progress made along the way. If someone is out of the office for a period of time, deadlines won't be missed because others can jump in and complete the task.
It would be nice if within an event there was a better way to mass-edit. For example, if we change a date, I would like to edit all tasks in a chart instead of going into each task individually.
Tasks aren't forgotten, teamwork is improved becuase we all know progress of tasks within an event and can help each other if needed. Stress is reduced becuase we know we won't forget to do something for an event.
Apps for Mac or PC and mobile, easy to learn, unlimited projects in free version, calendar view
No option to delagate the task on two or more different people
managing easier projects with many co-workers, I can instantly view the progress of certain tasks
The interface is really nice, and it's very intuitive. You have have lists or kanban boards for tasks, and subtasks too. The projects are colour coded and it's easy to navigate them.
Saving images uploaded by collaborators or even myself is always difficult using the phone app but all other features are pretty awesome.
This software saves me time when doing my monthly timesheets and reports. It has helped me to better organize my work life, and my home life. It also makes people work collaboratively and has a notification whereby it's easier to send and receive emails. Freedcamp has instant synchronization with Google Calendar and now they added the integration feature.
Freedcamp is very easy to use, you can jump right in to it and start using it because it is so intuitive. If you do need help they have
Nothing really to dislike, everything is put together nicely.
Total project management solution in one place.
I can't believe this is FREE! Freedcamp is a great way for "solopreneurs" like me to organize their business - offering all the features I need and none I don't. Since I work alone, I don't need all the sharing tools that dominate the UX of many other PM tools. I'm sure you CAN set Freedcamp up to do those things, but I love that I was able to easily set up all my clients and all my projects easily and see them from a calendar view or any other view I need. I also like that it sends me a snapshot of my day each morning.
So far, the only thing I don't like is that I can only mark tasks open or closed - there's no "in progress" option. But that's the only thing!
As a marketing consultant with several clients, Freedcamp helps me organize my work and stay on top of all my clients, projects and tasks. It does this neatly and easily, with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. I still can't believe it's free. It works so well for me!
