We are happy because it simplified our task of building a database for certification records.
It isn't the sexiest interface and tends toward a more utilitarian look and feel.
We are solving the problem of needing to store important records in a way that could be easily accessed by others.

We are finding out what areas we sell the most to, our average package price, the top rep in our company and so on. It has allowed me to manage my data more effectively
The interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate, it was easy to quickly start an app and get it customized to my needs. I have some programming experience but I am not proficient enough in any language to develop a full working app in a reasonable amount of time. I know that if my schedule had permitted, I would have been able to develop a full feature business app in no time at all.
Unfortunately, I was not able to dive very far into the offering but from the aspects of the service that I did use, I cant think of anything that I would have changed. Kintone is providing a full featured suite of tools that could allow anyone to build out software that meets their exact needs.
I was looking to develop a new user management platform but just did not have the time to dedicate to the project during the trial period. Since then i have migrated to another solution but I plan to circle back on this service in future projects.
When the apps are up and running the convenience of using them is great.
Working with the computer interphase as the administrator is quite cumbersome. It appears it almost assumes an IT expert is a part of every account.
Condominium management items however we have been slow to add items given the issues with administration.

Each "app" has to be handmade; for example, if you'd like to create 25 apps that have the same fields, there should be a tool to create a template and apply that template to your app.
Real-time data reporting for field-related data collections
The potential that the app has to help a variety of business models. It seems that the platform has the capabilities to perform certain tasks, but they haven't been launched or even thought of yet.
Given the very specific nature of my organization, our inventory is vital to our success as a not-for-profit. With that said, it required too many redundant actions or fields in order to obtain what is needed.
I do have to say that the glitches and bugs that are still present within the platform have caused more harm than good. We cannot obtain the reports that are required, and inventory levels are not maintained properly as to provide a current balance of any specific product. The one benefit that we have realized is the potential the platform has.
It was very user friendly and the cost was good.
There wasn't anything that I necessarily disliked. We have a unique situation, and found that it was a little generic and didn't always meet our needs. If we were a normal company though, it would've worked greatly.
It's help us to organize our member database and keep track of our members and their needs.
Simplicity. Kintone is on the right track in terms of who is using this platform and what their skill/time level is.

I like that we this database to store our volunteer and student information. From the functions I have used, it has been quick and easy without any tech. issues.
I feel like Kintone might not be the best program for our organization because we need a database that is going to act as a "hub" or "one-stop shop" for our staff, volunteers and clients. Right now it is only staff have access to it. Yes, it holds our records, but we need the database to do more. We need a space where we can hold information, easily download and analyze data, user friendly for volunteers to use. For example, our organization has to collect attendance reports from our volunteers and then enter it into kintone database. It would be ideal for volunteers to be able to fill out a form that auto-fills into kintone. Things like this would save us time. Again, I am new Kintone and I am not sure what its complete capabilities are yet.
Record keeping! Kintone helps us record our attendnace dates, tutoring meetings, testing and scores, etc. It also enables us to download data reports although it is a little difficult and confusing.
Kintone has built data visualization and data management apps for our sports performance department. It saves us time and energy to help make decisions with the data collected. They have fantastic customer service and are helpful through the entire process.
The visulaizations are simple and not as flashy as others.
When we collect GPS data on athletes, there are many equations and graphs that need to be calculated. Kintone allows us to upload 1 .csv file and the calculations and graphs are created in the app with the data.
I've built a sales database for our brokerage, and its ability to track and compare all attributes of different sales has made it a great tool. I can pull up comparables in seconds, and generate graphs to show trends super easily. While I am quite computer-literate, I am by no means an IT guy, but I have still been able to successfully dive deep into the function of this app and get the results I am looking for. ALSO, the customer service team here has hands down been the best and most responsive of any business app we have ever signed up for. They answer your questions super quickly and with fantastic knowledge and detail.
There are a few things I'd love to see this app be able to do that it can't, but they are very very specific, and I haven't been able to find any competitor programs that have better solutions than Kintone. (Things like daily updates to track how long a product has been listed for sale, comparing today's date to the listed date. They found a very functional workaround for this, but total automation on that would be great for me.) Again, general database things work flawlessly, and even for outside the box items like that, they still worked hard and found a good workaround for me.

One all-encompassing data entry and management platform that can be utilized and accessed by my team from anywhere they have access to their computer and internet. Easy to sort and track all data for programs, inventory, and volunteers.
The need to add additional add-ons or paid add-ons to complete basic tasks like invoicing, etc. Some difficulty when trying to cross-correlate some databases. Need more flexibility in creating and downloading tables.
Our organization has been using local file databases to track statewide data for educators and volunteers. Kintone has allowed multiple employees to access our databases and inventory from wherever they are. It has made it so much easier for our administration!

As a nonprofit, we needed to track our program participants, the services received, the volunteers they interacted with, and survey responses. Kintone easily helped us accomplish these things. It is has been key for grant writing and reporting.
Kintone is incredibly configurable and flexible when we need to alter or change our views on data. We've built several Apps with the product to log and manage our tasks. The ease of building is fantastic and the reporting feature makes data analysis easy.
There are some nuances when it comes to the integrations and APIs. Overall they work, we just need to make sure we pay close attention when building them.

Building an app was very easy and straightforward, and I had access to a Kintone representative to help me along the way. The customer service we received was beyond what we expected.
Some of the formatting options are limited, and some of the options available require some direction. I would not have known a certain feature was available unless I let a Kintone representative know what I was looking for.
We were looking for a way to manage our workflow, and needed more versatility than the spreadsheet we had been using. We're now able to keep more detailed records that are better organized. We were able to customize the apps for each team member specific to their role, and developed an inventory management system that we linked to our customer database. All communication and records are stored within the apps, so we were able to consolidate everything into one place.
Open-ended customization. Technical support (although it is so simple & easy to use that you will barely need it). System stability. Price. General overall rating.
Although it is not designed as an accounting application, it would be nice to have some more basic accounting features for totaling monthly & yearly quotations and sales.
We did not have any sort of CRM system to manage our quotes, estimates, client lists or ongoing projects. Kintone enables us to manage all these and more in one place.
I like that Kintone is highly customizable. Some qualities include custom folder creation and 3rd party app integrations going smoothly. While Kintone's competitors have a more modern feel, I can appreciate the simplicity.
I dislike that Kintone looks and feels old. And it doesn't look like that is going to change. Have better, sharper looking apps, with more color or creative logos and I would enjoy playing with Kintone more.
Kintone has made organizing our customer information so much easier. I realize how important it is to categorize data and make it easy to find AND read. Our business performance has increased by at least 15%.
I love how customizable Kintone is. We were able to build exactly the apps we needed for our work.
