I enjoy using OpenPhone- Its clean, simple, yet informative UI makes it easy to learn and use. We utilize the built-in recorded call feature daily, simplifying our workflows and quality assurance processes. Transferring calls and setting up extention trees is painless. OpenPhone has definitely earned a place on our business's short list of trusted tools.

I really dislike the pricing to value model: Basic phone service is $10, and that's great: It gives me almost everything I need but a few common sense things aren't included and force you into that double the price $20/month/user package for the entire organization. If you want to transfer calls, or utilize a very simple HubSpot integration you'll be doubling your costs. There are also many "Coming Soon" features on the $20/month plan that have been "Coming Soon" for over a year. You pay for an upgraded plan that has extraordinarily little value. I feel that OpenPhone should have a single pricing tier that's $15/month/user that includes everything. It should also be noted that SAML/SSO is an Enterprise-only feature.

OpenPhone is a cheap, but high-quality solution that lets me take calls anywhere and everywhere. I no longer need to give out my personal number, and I can more easily set boundaries regarding my time with clients. In addition, the app is more flexible and featureful than similarly priced competitors.

OpenPhone has been a great experience as a software. Nowadays software has to be very easy to understand and work well. The team that built this made the basics of what a small business needs in a phone system.

Honestly, they really did everything right. I was looking to find something to improve and overall there is nothing. The only thing I would say is about pricing. The OpenPhone pricing is a better price and value compared to all competitors. However, I would suggest one change. Instead of only per user, I would suggest a single company price, then a smaller per user price if they have a number tied to them. Otherwise, just a single company price, then keep the per phone number and potentially extra minute price. I know that would definitely reduce their revenue and their current pricing is very affordable, I would think a single price per company of like $10 o $20 per month then keep the extra number costs and extra minute costs. But take away the per-user price.

This is a fully functional small business, freelancer, sales team, support team...etc online phone system. It works incredibly well. They created a better disruptor to the competition.

Switching to OpenPhone was easy, fast and seems cost-effective. The team there is incredibly responsive — I used email exclusively and they were quick to respond to all my queries. And at $10/phone line per month with no upfront set-up costs, it was an ideal way for me to keep my U.S. mobile numbers when we moved overseas. Plus, the ability to call and text U.S. numbers for free means my U.S. clients don't feel a thing.

It would be helpful to be able to receive two-factor authentication texts to my number on OpenPhone. That's the only drawback to its use—for example, you can't use the number to log in to a U.S. bank account that requires a texted code.

I needed a solution to keep my U.S. number and to be able to call and text the U.S. after relocating to Portugal. This is a low-price way to make the move seamless for my U.S. clients.

One aspect of OpenPhone that I find disappointing is the current hold on CNAM entries. It would be beneficial to have the ability to customize the caller ID information displayed to recipients. Additionally, while OpenPhone offers an affordable solution, the pricing plans could be more flexible to cater to different usage needs. Lastly, although the call recording feature is useful, it would be even better if there was an option to automatically transcribe the recorded calls for easier reference and searchability.

When I decided to leave my long-time remote job and start my own business, I kept the VOIP service our company used. Why not? The telephone number was the one I had been using for 10 years and I didn’t want to go through the process of porting it to a different service so I switched to a single-user account and thought at the time it was a great deal. One year later it became clear that it wasn’t such a great deal. Yes, the service worked OK, but nearly 50% of my monthly bill was Taxes and Fees. That, plus a dated UI that didn’t conform to the way I work prompted me to search for another service. I chose OpenPhone because it delivers excellent value; clear signal, costs half as much, has a great UI with easy-to-use features that I will use daily, and above all a highly responsive service team that never fails to follow up.

There is very little to dislike. Since the service is so new OpenPhone is still listening intently to its customers and making product improvements that make sense for the majority of its users.

Cost effecient way to communicate with clients with helpful efficiency widgets. EX: OpenPhone supports SMS (text), and MMS (picture) messaging. Still measuring cost impact.

OpenPhone is a very intuitive tool for conducting international group calls or videos. As lower as eight times less than a standard mobile provider (roaming costs-wise), the ability to make/receive calls at no cost to/from U.S. and Canadian numbers, text messages, and voice mails, plus the possibility to record a welcome message to your callers or send an automated greeting message to accuse the reception of a text or voicemail is fantastic.

The less favourable I experienced is related to integrating my contacts with Google. I had to upload a CSV file with my 5,300 plus contacts. (which took less than one minute to integrate readily to use.

First and definitely, costs. A U.S.-based mobile number costs an average of $80 per month due to roaming and internet use with the apps necessary to enjoy what OpenPhone provides as an all-in-one tool at a much-reduced price.

OpenPhone is the perfect solution when you work and travel internationally. The app is very user-friendly. OpenPhone is a great service for a fraction of the cost we used to pay for RingCentral. Customer support is amazing!

There were a few hurdles in setting up the free account as I kept getting errors. Fortunately, customer support responded quickly to resolve it. It would be helpful if they would make the sign-up process smoother.

To be available for prospects and clients in the U.S. and Canada to call and text me without being charged international fees. It's especially great because I travel a lot. Regardless of where I am in the world, I can make calls, send text messages and receive calls without having to worry about the cost.

What I like most about OpenPhone are the features and the price point. A lot of other second phone lines are costly and charge on a tier scale for features. As long as OpenPhone continues to provide great service, and remain at this price point, they have a customer for life.

What I dislike about OpemPhone is tgat there is not a direct line to speak to a representative. You have to email for assistance. But, if that means I'll be charged more, disregard.

It's saving me money, and easy to navigate and use.
