Ease of use. Not only they have made an excellent product but the onboarding was equally impressive.
Nothing as such. Ideally I'd like them to give the option for procuring numbers directly from their platform.
We are a small business and use it for customer services and taking order. With OpenPhone we are not only able to have full transparency on customer interactions but also able to communicate faster through the common inbox.
Ease to get, a friendly interface at a very fair cost
So far the only question I had was that one or another location did not accept the number, identifying as digital
I live in Brazil and I'm moving to America, so the app helps me to have an American number, which is essential for dealing with various issues.
Integration between users and the latest CRMs
The user experience on the mobile is limited compared to the desktop app.
Cost efficiencies with international roaming.
I appreciated having the ability to place calls and send texts from their performant web-app.
I would have liked the ability to sync my Apple Contacts with OpenPhone contacts, to have a single source of truth for my contact list.
The obvious goal is to separate business communications from personal communications, and OpenPhone did that very well.
Contact Sync, API integrations, straightforward UXI on all platforms,
I wish there were a main feed with activity from different numbers instead of having to navigate to each number Also, wish it had timestamp features for the first day of messages. If i look back a convo that was just a few messages for one day, the date of the initial messages doesn't show. Date stamps only start showing for messages sent after the date of the initial message
Easy custom voicemail upload, conversation thread sharing, CRM
I have signed up and used OpenPhone for three different applications. The first is for a nonprofit organization, the second for a home office, and the third for a small home-based business. I like OpenPhone because it provides affordable phone service for inbound and outbound calls and texts from my desktop and cellphone. The calls are clear, and the texts come through quickly. It is nice to be able to text from my desktop. One of my favorite features is that an inbound call on my cell phone to my OpenPhone number is identified as a call on my business line. I know other people who carry two cell phones to accomplish what I can with one cell phone. I can also use my iPad to make and receive calls using wireless service.
OpenPhone continues to upgrade its service, but one feature I am waiting for is click to dial.
OpenPhone is an affordable solution to adding a business line for calls and text that can be used from a desktop or cellphone.
Affordability and ease of access on multiple devices.
Cannot call customer service, but responsive via email
Having a separate business line increases professionalism and allows for my privacy. As my business grows this will be an excellent solution for my team!
Having access to OpenPhone on my phone, tablet and laptop, and being able to use it for both calls and text messaging
It is possible to do a one-time sync of my phone contacts with OpenPhone, but I would love if the integration were ongoing so that anytime I add or edit a contact on my phone it would update my OpenPhone contacts, and vice versa
I recently moved abroad, but my business clients are mostly in the US. It was easy to port my US number to OpenPhone so my clients are able to continue calling and texting me as they always have, and I'm able to call them without incurring international calling charges
Ease of use. The interface is really intuitive, clean and simple. It works seamlessly on my iPhone and has not failed to connect or have voicemails that mysteriously disappear as they did on other services I've used previously. It's great that you can message and send photos just as you would on any mobile device. A lot more flexibility than your traditional business line. You can set your business hours and customize away messages with a few clicks.
No disadvantages that I can see thus far. If there were any wish-list items, it might be to have the option to set a different ring tone for Open Phone calls vs my regular mobile phone calls, but not a set-back at all.
Open Phone solves the problem of not having two separate phones or even a landline. Everything can be channeled through your mobile and organized separately from your non-business line. You can keep all your calls organized and helps create that separation of personal vs business life easier.
Their customer service is unparalleled. They are always adding features for business and they meet all my needs, even those I didn't know I had until they added features I didn't expect to use. I have and will continue to recommend them.
Handling images via text in their app is painful to use.
I use multiple business phone numbers and OpenPhone handles them well and even gave me access to a phone system to make use of, for incoming calls.
The call quality is the best I have encountered
Inability to video chat with other openphone users
I can make international calls cheaply and easily from my country in Africa to anyone worldwide
I am thoroughly impressed with the OpenPhone app. It is simple to use and provides all the functions I need to run my small business. But not enough praise can be given to the team behind OpenPhone. They have been quick and responsive since day one. They address each email and question/concern I have. If they world were ran like the team at OpenPhone, we'd have much less complaints about the quality of goods and services.
All my concerns were timely addressed by the team at OpenPhone.
OpenPhone provides a one stop shop for all my small business telephone needs.
The ability to handles contacts collaboratively
Up to this moment there isn't something I dislike from Openphone.
Outreach to customers and solving inquiries and also enabling a free dial phone number as a support channel for customers.
Fast loading app, clean interface, simple and easy to set up. Works as intended
Not sure yet. We are still pretty new but have tried ringcentral, grasshopper, etc
Being able to take calls any time, especially with a baby
I love being able to set schedules and also being able to create a contact list that is separate from my personal iPhone contacts.
I have not found anything that I dislike so far.
With my prior voice application, I had to link to my cell phone number and still had issues with calls not ringing. With OpenPhone, I'm not having any problems.
OpenPhone is very easy to use. The phone calls and text messages directly come to my phone as a push notification and I can track them easily on the website.
There are some tiny bugs on the dashboard but that's pretty much it.
I needed a phone number in the US that I can use for my business. It's been working tremendously, allowing me to call our clients.
Easy Set-Up and the ability to keep departments in the tool itself.
Dislike is a strong word the improvement I would like to see is the ability to conference calls, yet I know that they are working on that.
Having the ability to have a 2nd line without a 2nd phone which saves us money as a company but also gives the ability to show our customers the professional view they are used to.
OpenPhone is very affordable compared to other service providers. Last but not least, Zubair is a very helpful and friendly representative!
None. There is nothing I do not dislike so far.
No problem so far.
Super simple UX giving me all I need in a single app. I receive calls, messages, verification codes, and everything else in OpenPhone. I can set the business hours to receive the calls and block the numbers to avoid spamming and distractions.
I have not found any downsides so far. Keep up the good work!
I could not register for or subscribe to services that required a US phone number because I was not in the US. OpenPhone solved this problem for me
The simplicity of using it, the UI of the clients, the fast and kind support team and most importantly that they offer toll-free numbers
I'm not a huge fan of the pricing, I feel like there needs to be a cheaper alternative or something like "build your own plan" where you can choose how many minutes and SMS messages you need per month
I am using OpenPhone to communicate directly via customers and offer easier live support
