Quick Base has outstanding customer service. Whenever I have a question or issue, I hear back from a knowledgeable, professional tech rep quickly. Quick Base is very easy to customize to our business' use cases which means that I can create an app that fulfills exactly what my clients need. Finally, Quick Base is constantly improving the product with new features. new features
I wish that there was a small teams pricing plan for 2-5 team members. Also, getting reporting just right and creating complex database relationships are still issues for me. However, Quick Base is already working to resolve these issues. I
We have effectively used Quick Base for every are of our business; Operations, Marketing, Financial, HR and Asset Management to name a few. Our Quick Base apps answer business questions like how accurate are our project estimates and how much does the estimation process cost us?
I love being able to keep all of my project and campaign notes conveniently in one location, and accessible by other team members. Quickbase has been effective in combining a number of other resources we had to use to track projects - ProWorkFlow, Harvest, etc. - in one easy to use tool. I also appreciate being able to quickly find campaigns and programs based on "budget owner"/user, as well as create personalized reports based on criteria I pick (ex. "my 2018 projects within this market").
Some of the query-based filtering for reports takes some time to learn and set up effectively. I also wish there was a way to more easily change details, like budget owners.
-Keeping all information on a program in one central location - allowing multiple users to access the record and add time, details, etc. -Being able to add time in toward a program specifically, making margins easier to determine for our financial department -More efficient reporting - Being able to pull high-level reports based on specific criteria
I like that you don't need a lot of standard programming resources.
I wish the functionality around table relationships was more robust and the UI was more customizable.
We have used QB for mostly spreadsheet and MS access driven process replacement and improvement. Because of the online nature and ease of data integration the tool has helped us recognize incredible time savings without high developer costs.
A few things - Their "App Exchange" is an open resource of pre-formatted apps that can easily be customized for your needs. The company culture is all abourt working together and finding clever solutions to common issues - at an affordable price.
Some of the more advanced needs are beyond my technical ability, but QBase has tons of resources to help you come up to speed.
Many - from employee onboarding to job tracking and asset mgmt. Efficiencies and standardization are the best benefits to date. Also - FINALLY have one collective - NON-PAPER - repository for all company info and data.
Customer support is based in Boston and is quick and easy to work with.
Customer support does not help with custom coding.
We use this as a CRM to manage our client relationships and projects.
The best part about quickbase is how quick and easy it is to pick up and learn how to create apps on the site.
My only complain about quickbase, would be when trying to do some things thats more advanced than the usual then it can be hard to trouble shoot whats going wrong.
This software have solved issues with organizing our project management and tracking our audit cases.
Quickbase offers substantial customization and functionality for substantially less than similar systems.
The architecture of Quickbase's databases only allows one-to-many table relationships.
Quickbase is being used as a CRM and project management system.
Helps us with lot of basic functionality of day to day, Test plans, Test runs
sometimes search does not work as good as it should
I work as QA personnel. It helps me with my day to day testing , recording results
I like that QuickBase is versatile and can be customized to any aspect of a business.
Nothing. I think the ease of QuickBase is fantastic
Keeping track of every technical support case and their resolutions.
Super easy to use, highly customizable, and virtually connects all users. I used the tool for extensive top-to-bottom project management from over all PM to daily task assignments. With the comprehensive Excel data export, I was able to create customized business reports.
Since the time I used QB MANY updates to the software have been made. That being stated I cannot comment any dislikes here.
Project and resource management tool with DAILY task functionality.
Quickbase simplifies app development, making it efficient to create and manage applications. The versatility and customization options align well with the fluid nature of my role as an applicationd admin and allow me to share low-code no code options with yhe folks I create solutions for! It was challenging at first but, I'm always excited to learn new things!
Quickbase was challenging at first due to the interface, it can be visually overwhelming.
I'm able to come up with custome solutions for multiple users with one application.
The library of items so you don't have to start from scratch
There are No dislikes for me in the system. It works well
Credentialing and process improvement and tracking
Ease of use and ability to customize every aspect.
It can sometimes be difficult to find a specific answer in the support resources - even if it is a basic issue.
We use QuickBase to build Apps that both generate in-depth metrics for our business as well as to manage projects. These applications in turn provide us with the information we need to make management decisions and ensure the customer service we deliver is exceptional.
Easy of development and reporting for end users
UI can be clunky at times especially tables and filters
Quick application development
Quickbase is highly customisable to our needs
Requires specialist developer support. Too complex
Managing multiple complex projects across remote teams, working asynchronously. Compliance with audit and documentation needs. Performance measurement tracking and reporting
Simplicity / easy upload and extract / the way to customize it
Graph and recap table are not so performant / customizable.
Quickbase can easily centralize info from other system and display them as a table
It is extremely easy to get up and running even for someone that has never created an app before. But also can be used to do some extremly complicated and powerfull workflows as well.
The main downside is the pricing structure. It is really only viable for very large companies. I could easily see quickbase competing with excel but only if there was a much cheaper plan like 1 or two apps for 50 dollars a month.
The main problem it helps us solve is that is allows us encourage the business to self help on app creation so that IT is not necessary everyime. This has allowed us to free up more IT resources.
Customizability. Ease of use. Works well for out solution.
I think it needs a new look. Takes a while for things to load and sometimes connections break.
It helps us build products and pricing in order to create Order Forms for our customers.
The apps can be build quickly and since it is a no code platform, the sustaining can be transferred to end user.
The data connections to external systems are limited. The chart types are limited and formatting is not allowed.
Moving away from processes and data maintained in Excel spreadsheets. Project and process management.
Easy to customize to fit our business need as a project management software. We rely heavily ability to link tables of information together and Quickbase knocks that out of the park. Support team and sales team were and have been helpful over the years.
Pipelines have been a bit hitchy but work decently to automate tasks and information workflows. A tad pricey for super small businesses.
Ability to house key information for our organization- project info, financial snapshots, customer information, etc.
