Syncing to business accounts is not good. Must be done manually

Organization of expenses and invoices.

It provides a simple and intuitive flow and interface to manage accounting tasks for small organizations. I enjoy the simplicity of it over sage peach tree products for sure.

Can be clunky to find specific tasks or menus within the interface.

Simplified reporting, tracking and management. Has cut my accounting time in half.

How organized this product keeps a business. For example, having the ability to store all vendor and general contractors information in one place is very helpful. Also, we are also able to manage our accounts receivables and payables.

There are so many features that sometimes it feels impossible to feel 100% about my training. Also, we are deathly afraid to upgrade because we heard everything has been severely updated and changed.

We are able to use less paper documentation because Quickbooks stores so much information. Also, this program helps us stay organized and keeps us accountable.

I like how easy it is to track your bank account and credit card expenses.

I dislike that it makes you change your password very often. In our CPA firm, we do payroll/bookkeeping for over 150 clients. It is hard to keep track of changing passwords.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro provides the perfect package for a payroll and bookkeeping program.

I like the ease of use of the program . The program is very direct and allows all functions of accounting and taxes to be completed

There is no function to view more than one task at a time

I used it for payroll and AR&AP. It also helped with tracking job costs, credit card transactions, vendors, employees.

I wish that you could talk to an actual person within a half hour. They have no assistance it seems like they just want you to use help of google the questions and figure it out yourself.

It tracks things for you and it has easy to print reports to help you. Ask it and you shall receive.

I liked the check writing and setting up the clients list. Using the program to print 1099's was very helpful for our office. My boss was not very tech savvy and had no problem learning how to use this program.

We had to change the addresses of a few of our vendors and had trouble updating the information. We had to call support and they were helpful and got us through it but it didn't work as easily for us as it should have. We had some trouble when we did our initial upload of data but support was able to get us through it quickly.

The office used Sage before we changed to QuickBooks. QuickBooks made the check writing process easier and was more intuitive and easy to use to get financial statements for monthly reports. We would need to print the balance sheet and general ledgers for the auditors and it was much easier with QuickBooks.

The reports are great, company snapshot section is wonderful

Had some issues getting the multi user license to work.

Cashflow is what I always pay attention to in Quickbooks

Once set up, the ease in which you can drill down to detailed information. When working with Quickbooks, the flow between entries, payments, review and reports is seemless and easy.

If you are unfamiliar with accounting, it's easy to set up the books incorrectly. For people who are starting their small business, Quickbooks Pro may be too heavy of a program.

Long term analysis of project budgets and earning. It helps us forecast expenditures and earnings.

It does a great job of basic bookkeeping, has lots of interesting features. Very simple to learn and teach to non-accounting people.

The biggest daily issue we have is lack of adequate search functions. No ability to search transactions for text, the search they do have (called "find") is limited. Tracing a transaction from quote to deposit can also be painful.

I love having everything in one place and being able to generate reports automatically!

Sometimes it was difficult to enter all the information and notes because the fields were small.There are so many things you can do with QuickBooks - it's a blessing and a curse because there are so many fields on every page!!

We were able to keep track of every expense and figure out where we could save money. We were also able to calculate our annual government rates.

Some features i was looking for were not available.

Payroll and human resources, ar/ap.

Ability to quickly organize customers, vendors and track sales. It allows me to spend more time selling and less time taking care of paperwork.

Inability to generate a purchase order to a vendor from a customer invoice, without having to re-enter each item. Also, the help search engine could use improvement. I sometimes have difficulty resolving a question.

Sales Tax Reporting, Easier tax tracking. The ability to share my files with my accountant is a great option. I can easily get questions answered by her when I have unresolved issues.

Ease of use. Can take photos snapshots of receipts. Reminders of bills to pay and easy printouts for accountant and payroll.

Nothing actually. It’s a great program. Sometimes a little bit hard to download info into it.

My accounting. Keeps me on task and makes end of year easier.

Easy to use invoicing

I like the lay out of it. It is easy to look at and rather simple to navigate. It typically knows and prompts you to complete a step when doing something new which is useful. I love the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tool the most as it is easy to utilize and I can send out invoices via email with zero hassle.

I dislike that it seems I always have to start from the beginning when I want to go back and change or look at something. The go-back feature needs to be better addressed. I would like to minimize a register or report rather than completely remove the screen.

We solve Accounts payable and Accounts receivable issues with desktop pro. It is simple to track who owes us and to apply payments as needed. Not only that, I love the e-mailing of invoices option. It is perfect and streamlined my process.
