Windows client supports multiple monitors VM performance is good Administration is simple
Could be cheaper Less flexible then a complicated setup with a big cloud provider
All of our employees are using accounts on our cloud server. It's a great help, especially during this quarantine where everyone is working remotely.
That i can log in from anywhere with basic internet connection
I am using V2 Cloud for 3 years + i have nothing do dislike!
Im using it to be safe when loging in to my account from other places
Great customer service. Fast VPN. Very reliable.
None! I am happy with all services offered by V2 Cloud!
VPN services are great for our multi location company
This solution by far is one of the easiest solutions to implement and to use. Spinning server and allow users to connect and work under 15 minutes is very impressive.
As of now, nothing to be honest, everything is there in the control panel and stright forward to use.
We are eliminating the need of having an on primes server for small business. We are solving the down time issue by having everything managed in the cloud.
I can be anywhere and access all my applications on V2 Cloud desktop right from any device. I as well have full Remote Desktop delivery to my web browser. I didn't have to install anything on my pc. I'm not scared of losing my personal devices because there is zero data on them. Everything single data of mine is on V2 Cloud. Accessing my desktop is like browsing the internet and that's an incredible experience. I really do like the product.
Not all the web browsers redirect my webcam.
V2Cloud allows me to securely access remote files and desktop applications that operate in my office network. One of the benefits is the security and the peace of mind the system offers me. Even if there is a disaster today and I lose my laptop I'll still be able to use my cloud desktop via other mobile devices.
Very easy to use and prompt support. I've had no downtime in the 3-4 years that I've been using it.
The fact that I cannot access sound with some programs.
The ability to use a personal desktop at work. My IT department forbids me to load any personal programs on my mac work computer. Using V2 cloud allows me, in a windows environment, to load programs and do anything I can do with my laptop at home.
Ease of initial setup, use, and maintenance. We have 3 work-spaces with V2 Cloud.
I have no issues. Even if something happens to our workspace, their support is great and our downtime is minimal.
We are a software company and use one of our work-spaces to test our ongoing development. We use a second work-space to allow our new and potential customers evaluating our software. As well as our partners to test API calls.
I love how easy and reliable this is to use!!
I honestly can't think of one. This has solved our problem and the support is awesome!!
Small company that out grew our server. This was about the same cost of replacing ours.
Good admin dashboard that makes it easy to make server configuration changes. Good technical service. When I have questions, they are knowledgeable and provide effective answers.
Price is a bit too high as demand scales.
Providing software to the masses.
It was easy to deploy and get started. Any issues we had were all minor and easy workarounds. It has been easy for my staff to use.
No phone support. The chat support handled everything, but voice conversation could have been easier at times.
We have 2 locations, and V2 has allowed us to have seamless connectivity with all trade applications. Also lowered our physical hardware cost requirements.
The speed and interface are hands down the best.
Cost is a downside as its one of the most expensive platforms
Remote access, vpn connectivity
Ease of use, peace of mind. We can offload critical applications from our local desktop.
Storage space is limited, but not really needed for our use. All functions work as promised.
We are now able to connect remote employees to our accounting ststem. We are a small company with staff working from other states. Also we can delay upgrading our local PC since the mission critical app is in the cloud.
The ease of setup, and familiarity of the system overall is the best part. Being able to simply add users from the web interface and have them be able to login immediately is just icing on the cake, and you can still do normal administrative tasks on the computer.
I can't think of anything off the top of my head that I don't like. I wish it was cheaper, but you get what you pay for, and frankly the cost for V2Cloud is extremely competitive with other inferior products of this time.
I have two customers that need to be able to share software and files from multiple locations. Having it all on one machine that is cloud accessible makes life so much easier!
The speed of the connection. How easy it is to use. Quick replies from support. Cheap monthly prices and ease of cancellation of plan if necessary. Nice selection of ip's to choose from.
Copy/paste features obsolete. File transfer mode is limited. Sometimes it times out or has a connection problem. You can't change the browser size or it risks resettings your connection completely and then you have to log out and back in again.
Being able to quickly access a private network from any location. Low cost compared to other virtual private networks. No contracts required, month to month service.
I have been able to work with my clients remotely and employees using V2 cloud. Their software is very easy to use and offers many control options. It has been a great assets for my clients and their bookkeeping records.
It would be nice to see some lower pricing options for users with very low usage. Sometimes I have clients who rarely need access to the service. Honestly though the prices are still quite competitive.
Accounting services virtually and backing up records with a secure login
In my opinion, V2 could be one of the strongest companies that provide remote access. It is much faster, simpler, and more convenient than the TeamViewer. Woudl higlhy recommend it!
Sometimes we experience screen freeze or internet disconnection, but they happen quite rarely. A simple log-off/log-in fixes the problem.
We solved the problem of remote access to applications and the ability to view the screen in case if there are any problems.
I am using this service for around one month for personal use but can recommend it as stable and reliable. Also, I can compare with competitive services, and can say that this service is one of the best on market. Price good enough for value that service provides compared to the same services. I also can tell that the admin panel and billing are easy to understand, the price is fixed so you are sure that any extra expenses will occur. For my needs service has been working with 100% uptime, which is the most important for me. Thank you.
Everything was clear, compared with the services that I used before, I am absolutely satisfied. I can only say that price could be discounted when I am ordering bulk desktops.
I am using this service for my personal use, I only need a remote desktop to be working 100% time with a stable internet connection from a selected location and basic PC hardware.
Very easy to setup and use. Very reliable.
Can't monitor when user is connected via RDP. The service really needs to be used with RDP, which creates a great experience. But then we cannot live view, which was a selling point for us.
Remote workers logging into our accounts via a computer we manage.
V2 cloud is a perfect cloud-based server solution; we have found it to perform quite well. The support at V2 is excellent; when needing help, we are connected with someone from their team almost instantly.
One issue was getting the server to work with some Microsoft licenses; however, the V2 team helped overcome these. We also found that we used more memory than initially expected, which is a little expensive to increase.
We have most of our office staff connected to the VM; it allows a simple & safe solution for them to connect to their computer wherever they are. The benefit has been great.
V2 made it easy to set up a virtual desktop to work remotely on. I also installed Wireguard VPN quickly and have had zero issues with connection from my remote workstation > V2Cloud workstation > Internal Lan over wireguard. I'm using the lowest tiered workstation, which is currently $35/month. This price is very competitive with other similar solutions. Out of several cloud-based virtual desktop solutions that I have tried over the last few months (including Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Shells.com, and Kamatera), V2Cloud was the only one that reliably worked in the specific environment that I am accessing it from (Proxied network with locked-down browser). The latency has been low and allows me to do the tasks I require in the virtual desktop, such as programming in VScode and maintaining a remote network environment via WebGUIs and terminals.
Two things I think could improve the product: 1. Implement multi-monitor support on the web-client. It is currently only available on the desktop-client. 2. Allow a local-only installation of the desktop-client for those who do not have admin privileges.
I can use it as a jumping point to a network that I cannot otherwise access from my location. I can work on projects for this environment I would otherwise have to be physically present at, increasing utilization of my downtime much more efficiently. Secondarily, it serves as an always-on cloud compute environment that I can access from anywhere to pick up where I left off.
