For small business, its best plugin of WordPress but still there is few things that i don't like in WooCommerce. 1. Frequently provide updates : I see since last few months, i am getting frequent updates of WooCommerce so and after upgrade WooCommerce, mostly see 'Outdated copies of WooCommerce' templates if any templates used in theme. 2.For larger business : No more customization possible without paid plugin.
My friend has IT Company so mostly they are asking me to use WooCommerce for selling online product.
As wordpress has already been the de-factor standard for any blogs and many more sites, its extension Wordcommerce has emerged as a serious competitor to the major eCommerce platforms over the past years. It is a powerful, feature-rich extension that allows you to run a full-blown eCommerce site on top of Wordpress, without needing to run a blog at all. One of its biggest advantage is that it is highly SEO optimized and your new shop site will easily get a high ranking with the major search engines. And a high visibility is what probably matters the most nowadays - you can have the greatest products and slickest website, but if nobody finds it, you're lost.
Many of the available plugins and extensions are not free and many of them quite pricey. As WP itself is opens-source and published under GPL, many plugins are actually GPL and therefore free to use as well. However, the authors make it look like you hav etc pay for it, but they are actually charging you for a "Support License" and not for the product itself. So you could go to 3rd party sites and download the plugin from there, however these sites are a bit shady and you need to watch out that you won't get malicious code.
Building a customizable eCommerce platform that easily integrates with other services/APIs that we use. We've realized what a powerful platform WooCommerce is and how it boosted our visibility on the web and therefore sales.
I like using WooCommerce for my small e-commerce business. It makes listing and purchasing products simple.
Integrations are expensive to add to the website. Wish they were more affordable for my small business.
Since WooCommerce is in WordPress, it is user friendly for me. I am familiar with Word Press so using WooCommerce was simple, compared to using other e-commerce platforms for my business. It has made my transition to the e-commerce world simpler.

It was made to go hand-in-hand with WordPress what's perfect and it's reliable and it's always up-to-date and safe

I love how I can get a shop up and running in a few hours. It doesn’t take me days to set up and everything works seemlessly. I love how the most common payment gateways like Stripe and PayPal are free. Plugins are a big deal when it comes to eCommerce carts and Woocommerce definitely has good plugins and they are easy to install. The admin panel is very clear and use to use as well.
Woocommerce is not flawless but it is a good product. I would recommend the variable product attributes to be a little more clear on how to use it. I had to YouTube it to figure it out.
I am solving many problems. In fact, all my eCommerce problems have been solved thanks to Woocommerce. It has replaced Magento 2 for us.
I love the flexibility of WooCommerce. Especially the ability to add on extra features as needed. It's also great that I can harness the power of Wordpress SEO and Customization.
I would love to see a simpler interface, a little more user friendly. Since I know the program it's not a big deal but could be daunting for newbies!
WooCommerce provides me with a plug-n-play solution to adding e-commerce functionality to current and new Wordpress websites.
Helped me organize all of my orders effiently.
It is a bit slow. But, it works great and feel it’s worth it.
Organizing my orders and easy to refund if needed.
WooCommerce itself is a powerful open source platform powered by Wordpress. With bucket loads of plugins at your disposal, your little online store can be tricked with the best functionality the market has to offer.
Security on Wordpress is always being tested, so making sure you've got the right protection is paramount in protecting the data stored in WooCommerce.
Rather than spending five figures on having a large scale website built for you. Spend between three-to-four figures and get someone experienced enough in Wordpress to help you do it, especially if you've got no prior knowledge. By adopting this platform you're saving big on funds that you can use in other areas such SEO and PPC to help get your website found.
It's free, quite flexible, accommodates several product types, simple, variable, etc., it's easy to safely customize with override template files, and runs on wordpress, also free. Shipping options have improved greatly in the last couple years or so.
It's a pretty heavy app, unless you've got good hosting, it can run quite slowly.
We use this to take parts orders online, shipping to the US. Saves us having to take all those orders on the phone. Using some extra plugins with woocommerce, shipping is estimated and charged and payments are received all through the woocommerce checkout process.
For many years I've been using WooCommerce, I have not found anything difficult that I can't implement with WooCommerce. Thousands of plugins and themes, and thousands of people ready to help you
In fact, I didn't find anything that didn't dislike
Multiple payment methods and freight methods are available in convenient ways, in addition to the ease of use with the possibility of identifying the countries where I want to sell. Also an amazing control panel through which I can manage orders, products, categories and coupons. Everything is easy and very simple and if you find something difficult I contact with technical support and receive an response in minutes. Really, they are a wonderful team and the most revolutionary program in the world of e-commerce
I like how it has many features which you're able to edit such as Currency, payment methods, delivery options. I also really like how it is really simple to add products and categories so you can get selling quickly!
I don't really like how the login and register are on the same page when you visit the my-account tab, I'd prefer if they made it so they were on different pages.
Easy to sell items. I have realised that actually selling online is easy and now don't have to resort to ebay. It also makes me look more professional.
Like Wordpress itself, setup is a breeze and documentation is thorough.
It’s tough to modify unless you’re at least at an intermediate level php developer. Or are willing to pay for plugins.
Most of our client sites run Wordpress already, so it’s an easy way to add econmerce without much additional cost.
As someone who has taken time to try to code out an online store and anyone who has could tell you its a good deal of work. WooCommerce takes the guesswork and heavy lifting away following a few youtube videos is all you need to set it up.
Even if you have a buisness account for hosting https etc, it sometimes seems to register the site as unsecure and you need to do some more work to fix the problem. However this is my only complaint.
I helped an acquintance set a store up to sell his apparel.
SO easy to setup and install. Gret place to start your ecommerce journey.
It may not be robust enough for some but a definite place to start.
For anyone not doing full-blown amazon type selling and shipping, Woocommerce gets the job done right. If you step up and pay for premium plugins you can get all the robust integrations as well. Truly a good product.
It's free version is robust enough to get a store up and running on WordPress in an hour.

Populating WooCommerce was simple, and adding items or removing items is easy as well.
Some of the items I sell are on another website and I have yet to figure out an easy way to add them with their links.
